Mynetpets Stain Remover and Poop Bags

What do you give the girl that has everything? Well this girl has unique needs. No jewelry for this girl. All I want is to have clean hands and a clean house that does not smell like dogs.

Mynetpets Stain & Odor Remover

Mynetpets has released some new pet products on the market and I received their Stain & Odor Remover and Poop Bags in exchange for an honest review.

My household is very chaotic. With three young children and two large breed dogs, you can imagine that it is a full-time job keeping my house clean. Despite the beautiful benefits of pumpkin to Gonzo’s diet, he still occasionally has trouble with leaking anal glands. The leaking isn’t the worst part- it’s his licking of the rug or sofa afterward that results in this awful fish smell and stain. Some of you have experienced this with your dogs and know my pain. As a result, we go through a lot of stain remover.

We always have a stain remover on hand because anal glands or not, someone is always spilling something. But I hate those chemical smells. The Mynetpets Stain & Odor Remover not only smells nice, but has no foam and really picks up the dirt! It’s designed to work on urine, feces, vomit, dirt, blood, grass, and more. My husband though, prefers a more chemical smell with his stain removers.

Poop Bags

I’m always in the market for good poop bags. Is that weird to admit? As the fur mom of two large dogs, we take a lot of walks. They need a lot of exercise and running around the back yard is just not enough. So something I always have in my pocket are poop bags. Over the years my neighborhood has become incredibly dog friendly. And everyone is good about picking up after themselves. Sadly, we have a few mystery dog owners from other nearby neighborhoods that are not so considerate. So in addition to picking up after my own dogs, I usually find I’m picking up after others as well.

As a result, I was incredibly grateful to receive a box of 300 poop bags (20 rolls) from Mynetpets. But large breed dogs like mine can make a mess. There have been instances were I’ve had to double bag their feces to keep my hands clean, and I’ve run out of bags before I got home. Nothing is worse than leaving poop on the grass and having to go back and pick it up later. I always feel people think I’m an irresponsible pet owner!

The nice thing about Mynetpets’ poop bags is that they are slightly thicker than the regular pet store brands, and I haven’t had to double bag yet. Mynetpets poop bags are green and 15 micron thick. They keep your hands clean while picking up after dog.The 13 x 9 size means that they are large enough for even what my big guys can produce. Clean hands! Plus, not having to double bag means the rolls last longer.

Finally, I feel good about using these poop bags because they are water-degradable.  I know they won’t sit around for the next several decades in a landfill. I can be a responsible pet owner, have clean hands, and be earth-friendly at the same time.

Are Mynetpets products right for you?

They are right for me. There is a lot of competition on the market. Made in the USA, these products are earth-friendly. More, the products are easy to order from Amazon and the prices can’t be beat: 300 Poop Bags for $12.49  and the Stain & Odor Remover (16 fl. oz)  for $8.97! Shipping on Amazon Prime is fast and easy.

I am very pleased with their products and I will definitely use them again.

Thank you Mynetpets for sponsoring this post!  As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Ugh, I hate when that happens! You should give the Mynetpets bags a try. I haven’t broken one yet, and I pick up A LOT of poop.

    • Heather Wallace

The bags are definitely my favorite. Nothing worse than getting stuck on a walk with poop-covered hands and two huge dogs. Ugh.

I think it is so important to use biodegradable bags as we must think of the environment so thanks for talking about them, am going to check into the stain remover as you never have enough of that and agree with you no chemicals is the best way to go

    • Heather Wallace

Hi Ruth, thanks for reading. I so love the bags are water degradable! My dogs can create quite a bit of waste and I don’t have to feel guilty using these.

  • Sonja

water degradable is so important. Some are only sun degradable and so – if the bag is under a lot of other garbage it doesn’t degrade. So kudos to them for that! I always struggle with anything remotely scented (allergies) so that would be something to "see".

I am always looking for environmentally friendly pet products. With three big dogs in the house, we go through a LOT of poop bags and, like you, it makes me crazy when people don’t pick up their poop so I always have extra bags on hand when we are out and about. I really appreciate knowing that the MyNetPets poop bags are water degradable. Also, we go through gallons of pet stain/odor removal products so I do feel your pain! 😉

These products sound great! I wonder how the spray would work on cat urine or litter box areas. I’m always trying out different products for that purpose. The poop bags sound like a great deal too. Nobody wants a thin, leaky bag of poop in their pocket.

    • Heather Wallace

Robin, I hear you….for dog owners I think the worst thing is to have a thin bag of poop they have to carry around. I don’t throw them in my neighbor’s garbage and sometime I have to wait awhile until I can unload them. So it means a lot for them to hold up well. As for the cat urine and litter box areas, I think the Stain and Odor Remover would be great. I love that there is no chemical smell and yet it’s still effective.

I am glad you found something that is helping with the stains and smell! I appreciate companies that are environmentally friendly and these products sound great. My dogs are small, so the bags are always big enough, but it is really frustrating when a bag tears!

    • Heather Wallace

Small dogs definitely make it easier! My dad is used to his shitzu mix so when he walked my boys it’s always a shock for him to see the difference in size for their feces. Luckily he likes the Mynetpets poop bags as well!

  • Sweet Purrfections

Even though I don’t have a dog, those poop bags would be great for disposing of stuff in the litter box. I don’t have too many problems with urine from the girls, but I do get terrible stains in the carpet from hairballs. Wonder if this would work.

    • Heather Wallace

I do not miss hairballs! Occasionally my dogs will vomit with the change in weather (allergies) so the Stain & Odor Remover has been a lifesaver. I love the idea of using the poop bags to pick up the litter box.

  • Talent Hounds

We are developing a "Pick Up The Poop" game for our new Kids’ Pet Club. I am always looking at different poop bags – it is a pet peeve of mine as well and can really damage community relations.

    • Heather Wallace

I completely understand. No one wants to be the neighborhood curmudgeon telling people to pick up their poop, but someone has to do it. So glad you are teaching children pet responsibility. I would love to hear more about your "Pick Up the Poop" game!
